We got the Vegan breakfast, the waffles with berries and the English breakfast. For the English breakfast everything was really nice but the bacon could have been crisper, the vegan breakfast was good but I don't think the mint pea sauce was a good combination. The sour dough and hash browns were delicious! The berry waffles were delicious, quite tangy from sauce and with the sweet waffles it was a good combination.

We stopped at this beautiful cafe for a cuppa and a bite to eat whilst on gallery deliveries in the area. It is very easy to find just off the A27. Just turn off left soon after the roundabout and follow the signs to Denmans Garden. The road leads to a huge car park with lots of bays and plenty of turning space. We parked up and walked through a covered walkway with a lovely gift shop on our left. We followed the sign to the right through a small gravel area with trees and a water feature to the cafe which was in front of us. You walk into a big airy room with big glass windows and a modern spacious tabled area. There was also sofa seating to the right. (Toilets are at the back of this area, very clean and with hot water and nice liquid hand soap as well as sanitiser). We walked past the seating area, straight on through to the serving area ahead of us and found a few more tables there. It was very quiet when we visited so we sat here, it was beautifully decorated for Christmas and a very calm atmosphere. Our original menu choice of ham, egg and hash (£10.99 each) wasn’t available so we opted for steak pie with peas and mash instead (£11.99 each). The drinks came quickly and the food came a short while later. The pie came in an individual dish with a beautifully light puff pastry top. There was plenty of steak in the filling, delicious and so tender, in a very tasty gravy! The mash and peas were hot and well cooked too. Fantastic quality food, served by lovely helpful people! A real find! And saved to my Google Maps for next time we’re in the area! (Maybe coffee and some of that great looking cake next time!).

Nice and cosy place to dine in. Good welcoming service. Ordered the traditional brekkie and waffles. Both were great. The mocha was good, too. The toilets were average. Better than public toilets. Got a good garden outside to walk arnd too. Room for improvement: Got a little musty smell of mould here and there so people with respiratory issues be warned.

Accommodated in a conservatory (an uplifting cryptic big room), Midpines cafe offers great hospitality and warmth thorough their tasty plates. They all harmonise wonderfully and make us feel happy. Despite the recent rise of pricing, if we consider the generous portion and efforts going in each dish, they are worth every penny. Thank you for your hospitality!

The staff were lovely and brilliant and wish I'd got a photo of the food as it hit the spot! They even went to the shop to try and find vegan cheese as they were out! Already recommended this gem to other allergies sufferers as they were great

A lovely garden centre cafe that feels above average in terms of style and atmosphere. The Caesar salad was ok but I suspect the chef ran out of sauce and replaced it with plain mayonnaise. The coffee was decent except I ordered a large and got a regular sized mug with the grimiest teaspoon I’ve seen outside of a roadside greasy spoon. Room for improvement.

A very well cooked and tasty breakfast, loads of seating with widely spaced tables and Pleasant staff too. My only grumble is that i would like a larger portion for that price! Still, all 3 of us enjoyed it thoroughly
